I'm a Brazilian photographer based in New York. I started in the street — and everything I do comes from there: waiting for the light, reading what's happening before raising the camera, and photographing people the way they already are.Sou brasileiro e fotógrafo em Nova York. Comecei na rua — e é de lá que vem tudo que faço: esperar a luz, ler o que está acontecendo antes de levantar a câmera, e fotografar as pessoas do jeito que elas estão.
Before that, I worked as an art director in Brazilian TV and at advertising agencies. Today, alongside photography, I also work as an art director and director of photography.Antes disso, trabalhei como diretor de arte na TV brasileira e em agências de publicidade. Hoje, além da fotografia, também faço trabalhos de direção de arte e direção de fotografia.
